International ETIA-Get-together at ISE 2026

Barcelona, 4 February 2026 – The Entertainment Technology Industry Alliance (ETIA) hosted a networking event during Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026 in Barcelona. The aim was to present itself to companies as a new international industry platform. The get-together brought together around 50 representatives from the media and events industry from across Europe and the USA.

The seven ETIA partner associations were also represented at the event, which was hosted bySennheiser, the manufacturer of studio and transmission technology: AFIAL from Spain, APESA/SEINEP from France, AVITA from Finland, Event Confederation from Belgium, PLASA and PSA from the UK, and VPLT from Germany.

International dialogue on key topics

Exchanges at the get-together included topics such as the connection between sustainability and digitalisation. Specifically, cooperation is planned on the topics such as digital product passports and life cycle analysis, cybersecurity and EU-wide recognition of certifications for the safety of live events.

As an internationally oriented interest group, ETIA actively promotes dialogue between relevant stakeholders and political representatives at European and global level on issues that impact their members’ activities.

ETIA as a strong voice in Brussels

The Entertainment Technology Industry Alliance (ETIA) brings together national associations in the sector of media and live event technology from six European countries. Its aim is to pool valuable resources and expertise for the benefit of its members and the industry as a whole, and to initiate projects on relevant topics. The alliance also sees itself as a strong voice in European legislative and regulatory processes.

A relevant alliance of representatives from the event industry

The group represents manufacturers, distributors, dealers, system integrators, production companies and service providers of all kinds of live events. ETIA was officially founded last September at the PLASA Show in London.
